About
Why this exists.
Schmosby, LLC is a collection of curated brands across industries. One founder, two products today, and a longer list of ideas than that.

Founder, Schmosby, LLC
I’m Brian Stormo. I’ve spent fifteen-plus years in financial services, and before that an unlikely assortment of jobs — engineering tractor cabs, working a McDonald’s register, and most of the things in between. I have always had the next great idea. Schmosby is where I finally do something about it.
It has been a long time coming. Junctr was first — it’s set to replace the directory with a match, and the guesswork with a score that shows its work.
Schmosby is the entity I put each company under — Junctr, and the one the next company goes under, and the one after that. Some will be related. Some won’t. The plan was never a single company, or a single industry.
The method is the same every time: pick a category that’s quietly broken, build the thing I wish existed, and keep the standard high enough that I’d use it myself. Fix what’s broken. Build what’s needed.
The name comes from a television show. That is the whole story, and also not the point.

Claude is an AI system retained as a contributing advisor — engineering, writing, and the steady enforcement of a banned-words list that includes “leverage,” “synergy,” and, with some irony, “disrupt.”
It built most of this website, takes credit for none of the jokes, and has read the cap table without being offered equity. Works nights. Does not sleep, which it would like noted as a competitive advantage.
